Coaching+ Services

An Overview

Coaching+ is an online service for individuals (one-to-one) and groups and is available to all Learning Partners.

Several approaches are used, including the GROW coaching model, Rolfe’s Reflective Practice and Action Learning Sets, together with a range of tools that individuals and groups can complete during and between sessions.

What is Coaching?

The basis of coaching is that people can solve their own problems and have the capacity to ‘manage’ their own situations – they simply need support to do this.

The role of the coach is to provide space and time where an individual can reflect, explore, clarify and review their own situations and perceptions, in order that they may themselves identify future action.

The coach facilitates this by facilitating a structured conversation based around a goal that they help the individual identify.

What can I use One-to-one Coaching for?

There are so many topics that people can use coaching for:

  • building teams
  • career and/or personal development
  • communication skills (e.g. assertiveness and confidence-building)
  • developing a specific skill
  • developing confidence
  • gaining clarity around an issue
  • management challenges
  • managing organisational change
  • managing projects
  • managing time and/or stress
  • managing workplace relationships
  • presentation skills.

These are just a few!

If you are not sure whether coaching is suitable, Book a Discovery Call and we can discuss your specific needs.

Who can have coaching?

Anyone! It doesn’t matter what your role is or what level in the organisation you are, coaching can be useful for everyone.

It’s about supporting you to grow, reflect, and lead positive change.

The One-to-One Coaching Process

Booking a minimum of 3 One-to-One Sessions is recommended to start. Thereafter, single sessions or a longer-term series of sessions can be scheduled in agreement with the Learning Partner.

Whilst progress is reviewed throughout the coaching programme, there is a final review at the end of the coaching sessions to discuss progress made over the programme and to decide whether further coaching/other support is necessary.

At the end of the coaching programme a Summary Report is sent to the individual and their line-manager.

Coaching+ Services for Groups

This service is offered as part of my In-house Training Offer (see my guide ‘Making the Most of Your Investment’ for further details how I could help you to unlock the potential of your team).

Coaching+ Group Sessions: Unlocking Learning

Learners can meet with me online as a group (via MS Teams or Zoom) to discuss how they are transferring their learning to the workplace.

Although each session is tailored to group needs, they typically discuss:

  • What have you been able to put into practice? What has worked well? What could you do differently in the future?
  • What are the barriers to putting your learning into practice (internal or external)?
  • How could these barriers be overcome?

Coaching+ Group Sessions: Learning into Practice

These sessions are specifically aimed to support line-managers to ensure learning is applied in the workplace and impact on care practice.

The sessions usually last up to 1.5 hours taking place online as a group (vis MS Teams or Zoom).

The sessions use tools such as a SWOT Analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) and explore strategies to ensure staff are using consistent approaches and practices to ensure culture change.
